Prof. Adriela Fernandez

Adriela Fernandez obtained a B.S. in economics at Universidad de Chile in her native Chile, an M.S. in applied economics and a Ph.D. in international political economy at Purdue University in the United States. Dr. Fernandez, the mother of two children, is University Professor of Latin American Studies/Integrative Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at Governors State University in Illinois. She is also Vice President for Research of the Third World Conference Foundation and permanent contributing editor to the Journal of Latin American Perspectives.
