Prior to joining the University of Tasmania in 1992, Graeme was employed in the finance, retail and newspaper industries in various managerial positions. His research embraces management in less developed countries (with a particular emphasis on nations of the South Pacific), workplace violence, workplace diversity, the changing nature of the psychological contract, employee commitment, and management education. He has taught in the following areas at both undergraduate and graduate levels in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia: Employee Compensation & Benefits, International Business, Managing in Asia Pacific, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, Human Resource Strategy, International Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Marketing, Business Communication, and Organisational Behaviour.
