Michael Brazley is an Assistant Professor in the School of Architecture and Interior Design at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) teaching architectural design, urban design, Kid Architecture and the Le Petit Grand Tour d’Architecture Program. Professor Brazley has received numerous awards including: "Who's" Who in U.S. Executives, Professional Service Firm of the Year Award, Emerging Minority Enterprise Award, Minority Service Firm of the Year Award, and the Sierra Club’s Smart Growth Award. Professor Brazley is a registered architect in the states of Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio; received his Doctorate in Urban and Public Affairs and has owned and managed an architectural company for 17 years.
Dr Brazley’s areas of interest include: interior design, diversity, architecture, and housing.
