This paper is a case study which discusses mobility patterns within a specific organization. It shows the importance of paying attention to factors such as educational level and skills and training of recuiters and managers instead of adhering to the more traditional, emancipatory approach, while at the same time discussing the various factors which result in differences in mobility patterns between different groups.
